The Arkansas International Missions Foundation (AIM) is a non-profit,
Christian charitable foundation specifically dedicated to working with,
funding, and training preachers around the world to spread the Gospel of
Christ. At the current time, our focus is in the Philippines. This ministry
started as an outreach of a single local Baptist church in Central Arkansas
that has resulted in the planting of 28 New Testament churches with approx.
1500 in membership, the support of 47 pastors and missionaries, and has
resulted in the salvation of over 20,000 Filipinos.
The hunger for Christ in the Philippines is amazing--American missionaries
have reported during their trips, seeing people hanging in the windows of
churches, standing in a packed 100 degree room for hours on end, and
literally crawling over one another to get to the altar and pray for Christ
to save their souls. Yet despite this hunger, millions of Filipinos have
never heard the promises of Christ's salvation; thousands of children in
orphanages with great needs due to overcrowding; and the entire country
battles the difficulties of poverty.
We at AIM believe that the most effective ministry to spread Christ
throughout the Philippines is an American-Filipino partnership, where local
churches in the United States support local churches in the Philippines
through prayer, giving, and teaching. It is not simply enough to go on an
occasional mission trip and preach the gospel--we must train and equip the
Filipinos to be able to spread the gospel of Christ effectively within their
own households, their own villages, and their own cities.
AIM is a completely volunteer-staffed organization. All donations--100%--given
to the foundation go directly to the mission field. If you make a "General
Donation", the staff of AIM will send the money to the area with the
greatest need (these donations are preferred). However, if you make a
"Specific Donation" to one particular area, 100% of that money will be given
to the area of your choosing.
